New Management Team For Under 9's

Kirk Forsyth and Craig Mendum have been appointed as coaches to the Under 9's after Richard Atwood decided to step down from his position as Manager. Both Kirk and Craig have played for New Marske's senior side for many seasons, whilst Craig has also played in the professional game.

Training sessions are now held at Huntcliffe School, Saltburn each Tuesday, 6pm - 7pm.

Great Start To New Season

The under 9’s continued their superb start to the new season with a great win at Teesside Athletic on Saturday August 30th. Having gone behind, great goals by Kyle Hodgson and Callum Brundle 2, secured a superb 3-2 win.

At the Redcar Town tournament on the following Sunday only a narrow defeat by Redcar town b and one point prevented the side qualifying for the semi finals. Playing with only 6 lads of the correct age and 1 lad mark Graham from the under 7’s; all the 7 lads that played every game played out of their skins. Despite the fatigue a superb effort. For the record they played 5, won 2, lost 1 and drew 2. Callum Brundle was the leading scorer but star of the show went to little mark Graham who scored 2 great goals despite being under age.
